A Native of Copenhagen, Denmark, Jorgen Moller opened Out of Denmark in 1993.
The restaurant features superb Northern European
cuisine in a small, romantic atmosphere. The Moller Family prides itself on delivering the
finest quality of food and service and a better value for the dollar than other
restaurants.
Guests at Out of Denmark enjoy complimentary gravlax,
salmon cured with aquavit and dill and served with honey mustard sauce, followed by a
Danish Kold Bord which features North Sea herring, a bean/corn salad with fresh cilantro,
warm spinach dip, mushrooms marinated in dijon mustard, whole petite beets and a
sweet-and-sour cucumber salad.
For an entree, one might try the rack of lamb, a
signature dish of Chef de Cuisine Christian Moller, salmon almondine,
Wienerschnitzel or the roast duck.
For dessert, the Blueberry Cobbler and Danish layer
cake are highly recommended.
Everything Out of Denmark serves in made fresh each
day. Unlike other restaurants, Out of Denmark doesn't have a walk-in refrigerator.
The dining environment is charming and romantic. The 42
seat family restaurant is lovingly decorated in white and pinks with dried flowers and
homey decorative touches.
