Press Coverage
In the November 21, 1999, Sun-Sentinel Sunshine Magazine food
writer Judith Stocks chose Out of Denmark as her favorite restaurant in Palm Beach County.
Here's what she had to say:
|
Out of Denmark , 1715 S. Federal Highway, Delray Beach , 561-276- 4950.
This little gem
exudes charm and features Northern European cuisine from a talented family of
restaurateurs whose
name is synonymous with fine food and service. The father-son team of Jorgen and Christian
Moller, along with the rest of the family, have relocated their talents from Miami's
former Prince
Hamlet and Broward County's former Cafe Danica to bring their winning ways to Delray Beach.
The accent is Scandinavian, and it begins with individual Danish Kold Bord tabletop
carousels that
include house-cured gravlax. After that, dig your fork into such house specialties as
roast duck, rack
of lamb, snapper en papillote and veal oscar. Be sure to save room for one of the house
desserts -
loaded with decadent ingredients like freshly whipped cream, raspberry jam and almond
custard.
